Produced by the Charleville (France) foundry of Corneau Freres, this pair of cast iron pots from the 1800s has several rings of lobes and elaborate scrolled handles adorned with roundels. The renowned artisan, Alfred Corneau, who was one of the founders of the Charleville studio, created these pots in the style of Louis XV. A placard stamped on the foot of each pot reads “Corneau Alfred a Charleville No 2”.
