A delightful pair of hand-carved vintage figurines depicting seated scholars engaged in study and calculation. One figure holds an abacus while the other appears to study a writing tablet or manuscript, creating a harmonious representation of knowledge, wisdom, and scholarship.
Carved from what appears to be warm brown soapstone with a naturally aged patina, each figure displays expressive hand-carved details, flowing garments, and traditional hats.
