The table stands on a distinctive pair of finely turned barley twist front legs with square rear supports, a design that became particularly fashionable during the late Georgian period.
The rich mahogany timber displays a warm colour and attractive figuring throughout. The rectangular top sits above two useful drawers fitted with turned wooden knobs, providing practical storage for everyday items. The simple elegant form allows the piece to work equally well as a side table, hall table, console table or occasional desk.
