Daum freres & Louis Majorelle
poplar autumn leaves
A wonderful French art deco hanging fixture in wrought iron with a large Daum bowl in mottled coloured blown cameo glass. Acid- engraved. It is signed Daum Nancy. The furniture designer Louis Majorelle had a large forge in the city of Nancy and together with Daum these two illustrious ecole de Nancy members produced a wide range of vases lamps and chandeliers with glass produced by Daum and wrought iron by Majorelle.
The pendant light has a total height of 27,56 inches (70 cm) and the glass bowl has a diameter of 18,5"(47 cm). Contact me if you want the chandelier to have another height. The pendant light is in excellent condition. It is rewired with three American candelabra base sockets. For other countries I will place E14 ones for European light bulbs.
