Daum freres & Louis Majorelle
A wonderful French art deco pendant light in wrought iron with a wide Daum bowl in mottled coloured blown glass. It is signed Daum Nancy. The furniture designer Louis Majorelle had a large forge in the city of Nancy and together with Daum these two illustrious École de Nancy members produced a wide range of vases lamps and chandeliers with glass produced by Daum and wrought iron mounts by Majorelle.
The pendant light has a total height of 62,5 cm (24,6 inches) and the glass bowl has a diameter of 48,5 cm (19,1"). Contact me if you want the chandelier to have another height. The pendant light is in excellent condition. The shade is without chips or cracks and the iron mount has a nice patina. It is rewired with three American candelabra base sockets.
