This is a Maitland-Smith (Hong Kong) vintage Chinese porcelain hand painted table Lamp with a smooth glossy glaze, circa Mid 20th Century. The entire body of the lamp is surrounded on all sides with blue and white patterns and images of cranes and pumpkins . There is a a original ceramic top piece also painted. This top has a wiggle but securely fastened. I believe the shade is also original in an older fabric. The Chinese dark wood base has the original label on it.

CONDITION REPORT:
Study socket with a functional electrical cord. Tested. The ceramic body is excellent plus condition. The mahogany base is also excellent. The shade is good, it has a wrinkle and some irregularity and yellowing in fabric as shown. Beautiful lines in this stunning piece - Designer/decorator ready.
It is a perfect for an Asian or Chinoiserie style home or apartment.
