This monumental sculptural side table is beautifully constructed using exceptionally thick smoked cast acrylic, a precision-spun brushed aluminum insert, a machined aluminum collar, and a substantial lacquered pedestal base. Every component is remarkably heavy, giving the piece an unmistakable sense of quality and permanence.

The design immediately evokes the bold architectural language of Italian and American Postmodern furniture from the late 1970s and 1980s. The dramatic smoked acrylic hemisphere, floating aluminum bowl, and geometric pedestal create a sculptural composition that is equally at home in contemporary, modern, or collector interiors.

Unlike ordinary acrylic furniture, this table features an incredibly thick removable cast acrylic top supported by discreet aluminum spacers, revealing the beautifully finished brushed aluminum vessel beneath. The craftsmanship throughout is exceptional.

The manufacturer has not been identified, but the design quality and materials strongly suggest a high-end boutique maker or showroom production.
