It is printed and framed by Les Editions Braun of Paris for the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature in Paris, where it would have been originally purchased in the late 1960s. The subject matter is a classic equestrian hunting scene with several riders on horseback and many hunting dogs in the French countryside. The greens in the artwork are complemented with an olive green velveteen fabric between the inner and outer frames. The giltwood frame shows its age, revealing the red primer in many areas, as you can see in the photos. See less
