Both have been given a newer professionally applied antique white painted finish to the bases, while the tops are finished in a greenish-gray faux marble paint, a look typical of the period. The painted surfaces are slightly distressed, revealing some of the natural wood below and adding depth and character that suit the age of the pair. The tables rest on turned taper legs and applied decorative carving accents the tops of the legs, giving the pair a graceful and classic Swedish look. Restored strong, stable, and ready to use.
