Crafted in stoneware, it combines a textured lava-like exterior with a softly glazed celadon interior and moulded geometric relief decoration. The base bears an impressed model number, a small workshop seal, and handwritten production marks, all consistent with Japanese studio or export pottery of the period.

The sculptural form reflects the organic simplicity and geometric restraint associated with Mid-Century Japanese design. A band of moulded diamond motifs encircles the exterior, contrasting with the volcanic texture of the clay body and the smooth celadon glaze within.
