Muller frères
A French 1925-1935 art deco flush mount by Louis Vandamme. A large manufactory producing bronze and wrought iron lighting fixtures during the interbellum at16 rue Popincourt in Paris. The nickel plated bronze or solid brass mounting holds a hexagonal shade by Muller freres depicting peacocks. A sought after model that is represented in one of the old Muller freres product catalogs. The shade is signed Muller frères Luneville. And the mount is stamped VL being the foundry mark for Louis Vandamme.
The ceiling lamp is 6 inches 15,2 cm high and 16,9 inches 43 cm in diameter. It is in very good condition. The mounting is re-nickeled and patinated. I rewired it with three American candelabra base sockets.
