This pair of C.1970 framed needlepoints are like the mod version of the old fashioned samplers popular in the Victorian era. The 'Love' needlepoint is in aqua with purple, red and yellow pansies on a sea foam green background. The 'Bless This Home' needlepoint is a rainbow mix of yellow, orange, blue, olive green, purple and red with a daisy and ladybug accent. Both are hand-stitched and framed by talented crafters giving them a folk art style with a pop aesthetic. The embellishment on the 'Love' frame is priceless...glued on braiding and a ring pull from a can for the hanger...too funny! Great for an alternative wedding gift or house warming.
Both needlepoints are in good condition. The 'Love' needlepoint shows a little discoloration around the edges from age. The 'Bless This House' needlepoint might benefit from re-framing as the backing has loosened from age but it is usable as is.
The 'Love' needlepoint measures 5.88" tall x 7.75" wide x .88" deep. The 'Bless This House' needlepoint measures 6" tall x 6" wide x .88" deep.
