Designed in 1966 by Emma Gismondi Schweinberger for Studio Artemide in Milano, Italy, this pair of "Giano Vano" cylindrical side tables represents iconic mid-century space age and postmodern design. Being sold as a set of two (x2). Rare design to find within the United States, even rarer to find an original matching set. Each unit is constructed from molded ABS plastic and features an integrated front storage cubby with a low-profile recessed base. The structural integrity remains sound across both pieces, with one table exhibiting a stabilized hairline fracture strictly confined to the underside panel. Each table exhibits minor surface/finish wear that can be polished by the buyer if preferred or left as is. Display, use ready set.
