Rare and collectible MP-87 lounge chair in leather, steel, and fishing net, designed by Percival Lafer in 1971 and produced in Brazil in the mid 1970s.
The seat was recently reupholstered in aniline cognac leather while the frame and mesh remain in excellent condition, free from scratches, dents, and tears.
MP-87 is one of Lafer’s lesser seen models, with generally only a handful for sale worldwide at any given time. This chair retains its original label from Brazil Industries, the primary US importer of authentic Lafer furniture in the 1970s.
