In the Studio - (Ollendorf and Croft) original oil on board.
Expressionist modern style interior scene of two artists at work.
Big brush strokes, bold figures and very nice mix of colors.
Blue, gray, amber, ochre, black and white.
Artist signed and titled on the reverse.
Unframed - 15" wide by 10" tall.
In keeping with Aesop's fable, Fox and Crow's Motto is "Beware of False Flattery!" So, with each listing we offer a true confession about the item...
My husband calls this one "Dueling Artists" !
It's a very nicely executed original oil, and that's about all we know. It found its way to us as one of a set of very good works that were literally in the "to be framed" section of a fine Piedmont Virginia collection.
Bottom line - this is far too well done and interesting not to elevate, so here is your chance!
