This lovely Christmas Collector Plate is made of porcelain. This beautiful holiday plate was made by H&G Selb / Heinrich & Co. in the 1960s and the backstamp reads, "H&G Selb Bavaria Germany Heinrich | ELSE PFEFFERL 8000 Munchen 90, Tegernseer Landstr. 300 and 8080 Furstenfeldbruck Haupstr 7," which indicates the original boutique, see pictures. The center motif depicts Scandinavian designs of Santa Claus on horseback pulling a sled filled with gifts and presumably Mrs. Claus, against a white porcelain base and gold colored trim all around the piece. It would be a lovely gift or addition to any holiday or vintage porcelain display.
The measurements: height=1.125" diameter=9.375" approx.
