Two wide white arches open at the top of the face and converge into a broad central field, flanked by vertical bleed lines that descend toward the lower edge — the whole composition reading like a mirror-image crest rendered in resist-dyed silk. Woven some years ago and kept in excellent condition, this cover carries the slightly deeper hand of aged silk alongside all the visual clarity of the original weave. Works well in Boho Chic, Global Bazaar, and Transitional interiors.
Size: 16 x 16 inches / 40 x 40 cm. Cover only, insert not included.
Handwoven from silk threads bound and dyed before weaving, so the arch and medallion forms emerge from yarn alignment during the weaving process itself. Not printed; the pattern is woven directly into the fabric structure. Natural variation in color depth and bleed edge width across the face reflects both the ikat process and the character that comes with age.
