This round creamy white porcelain vase or jar features vibrant red painted designs of stylized birds, dragons and perhaps butterflies, used on the Meissen Court Dragon pattern. It has an applied metal rim, which is characteristic of these pieces.
Marked on bottom with the iconic Meissen blue crossed sword mark.
Measures about 4" diameter, 4¼" tall.
Age unknown, likely mid century, possibly earlier. Good vintage condition.
