This mirror came to me as part of my grandparents' collection — heavy, solid, and carrying the quiet dignity of something that has been many things before it became this. The frame is constructed from thick solid wood in a classic raised-panel configuration, the kind of joinery associated with antique interior doors, giving it a depth and architectural presence that purpose-built mirrors rarely achieve.
The mirror glass itself is beveled and completely intact — no chips, no silvering loss, no compromise. The frame wears a warm greige paint finish, well into its chippy era, with honest wear throughout the surface that took decades to develop. There is one area on the right side of the frame where hardware was removed — a small ghost of its previous life that only adds to the story. A wire hanger is attached to the reverse for wall mounting, though given the weight I'd recommend a proper picture hook rated for the load.
This is not a lightweight decorative piece. It is genuinely heavy for its size and commands a wall rather than simply occupying one.
At 29"H × 20"W × 1"D, it works as a bathroom mirror, entryway accent, or leaned against a wall as a floor piece in a bedroom or studio.
