The arched glass panels in the upper doors are what stop you first. Then the ornate brass latches. Then you notice the depth, at 28 inches, this is a piece that holds space as much as it occupies it. An antique Indian teak armoire with serious architectural presence.
Four-door construction: upper arched glass-panel doors open to shelved interior; lower solid panel doors with original ornate brass latch hardware. The teak is warm and richly grained- darker in the grain lines, amber where the surface has been worn smooth. A substantial piece for a substantial room.
For a living room that needs an anchor. A dining room or library that can carry the weight of something this considered.
