This model is a mid-century reproduction made by the esteemed firm Brunovan Furniture (NYC), which went out of business in the mid- 1970s. The label is missing from this chair. It was a chair that was part of our inventory (Conley Interiors Inc.) since that time but which we completely re-upholstered in 2010. The details on the frame of the chair makes evident the expertise of the carver, whose delicate embellishments are obvious, especially at the fluted knee of the front legs. The chair features an goose down seat cushion and antiqued brass nailhead trim throughout. Although this chair was part of the inventory of our high-end interior design furniture showroom, the re-upholstery of it renders it to be in like-new condition. It was always part of our inventory and was never sold or used. See less
