This exquisite studio glass vessel is a captivating collector's item by the renowned French glass artist Robert Pierini. Handcrafted in 1990 in the famous glassmaking village of Biot on the French Riviera, this substantial piece boasts an impressive height of 30 cm and a striking sculptural presence.
Pierini is highly celebrated for his masterful command of hot-glass techniques and his fluid, organic forms. Reflecting the vibrant light and dynamism of the South of France, this vase serves as a perfect example of the French Studio Glass Movement of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Fully signed, dated, and inscribed via vibro-engraving (vibrogravur) on the base.
Robert Pierini’s work is well-documented in standard art history literature. This piece has an attribution mark,
