Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, the company became an industry titan in the American gift market. The broad, sweeping, multi-tined antler design with forward-facing brow tines is modeled after the classic signature of a mature European red deer stag or North American white-tailed buck. These pieces were made primarily for the Western US marketplace, a booming market where ranch houses and alpine cabin architecture thrived. Crafted with a traditional mold-casting process where molten metal is poured into a detailed form. Once cooled, they were finished with a deep, layered bronze and charcoal patina to mimic heavy antique museum bronzes, beautifully highlighting the textured fur and complex multi-point antlers.
