Tendentse was founded in Livorno in 1985 as a small publishing company specializing in objects, established by two young Tuscan entrepreneurs, Stefania Campatelli and Flavio Pannocchia, with the aim of launching experimental research in the field of new ceramics and porcelain craftsmanship. The collection, developed between 1985 and 1988, includes designs by Daniela Puppa, Andrea Branzi, Michele de Lucchi, and others. In 1988, Tendentse was incorporated into Alessi, and porcelain officially entered the company's catalog.
