Gorgeous and refined vintage pocket vase also known as flat vase or bud vase showcasing the superb craftsmanship of traditional Venetian glassmaking from the second half of the twentieth century
This piece was handcrafted by the prestigious Vetreria Artigiana Bibierre in Murano which is officially identified by the historic consortium code 055 Due to its exceptional quality this manufacturer is often misattributed to other contemporary furnaces on the mid century modern market.
The vase is executed with the classic and complex mezza filigrana technique It features an incredibly dense regular and symmetrical spiral pattern of thin white lattimo glass canes embedded within a perfectly clear crystal body.
