The beautifully figured oval walnut top is crossbanded in King Wood with boxwood line inlaid with beautiful sprays of flowers marquetry decoration and can seat 12 people in comfort. The table top is embellished with decorative ormolu mounts and is raised on four ormolu mounted cabriole legs and features a internal drop draw leaf. The matching set of twelve chairs comprises ten side chairs and a pair of armchairs. The chairs are made of solid walnut, have been beautifully French polished and upholstered, and the exquiste marquetry decoration is hand cut to match the table. The drop in seats can be removed in hot weather so that the cane seats below can be utilised. This stunning dining table and chairs will stand out in your dining room and will definitely become a key piece in your furnishing collection.
