Large ceramic plate, hand-decorated by Lina Poggi Assalini for CE-AS, in Albisola Marina, Italy.
The style and technical innovation: The Ce.As. granulato.
The factory became famous for the introduction of special glazes, such as the famous "granulato Ce.As." glaze, a textured and innovative coating that gave surfaces a grainy, sandblasted, and modern texture. The subjects: Production ranged from splendid Art Deco vases and majolica tea services to decorative plates. Typical motifs included rural scenes, fishermen, and animal or plant subjects.
The back bears the inscription of the manufacturer: Ce -As Albisola Mare This piece has an attribution mark,
