An exceptional example of early Art Deco craftsmanship from the 1920s, this antique cabinet desk lamp seamlessly blends industrial functionality with bohemian elegance.
Featuring a beautifully contoured, S-curved brass gooseneck stem, the lamp leads to a stunning dome-shaped shade. The shade is intricately embossed with geometric motifs and classical fluting, highly characteristic of the late Jugendstil / early Art Deco transition. Its most captivating feature is a constellation of six faceted ruby-red glass cabochons embedded into the brass work. When illuminated, these jeweled inserts cast a warm, enigmatic, and colorful glow, turning a functional light source into a striking piece of interior art.
The piece showcases a magnificent, untouched age-appropriate patina across its brass elements.
