In the Canton pattern.

Decorated in underglaze blue with a mountainous Chinese village with houses, mountains, foliage, and a river and boat.

The lid with an applied foo dog/Buddhist lion finial, and the applied handle with flower devices where it meets the body

Simply a wonderful example of Chinese porcelain!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition.

Condition Details:
There are restorations to the spout, possible restoration to the lid's edge, some glaze losses, some glaze skips and fritting to the handle, some other flakes and fritting throughout, and some firing flaws here & there (with particular note to the handle and its applied flowers). Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fritting, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
