Mid-century modern art glass vase from Elme Glasbruk, a Swedish company known for its Scandinavian modern design. This is a turquoise or sky blue cased glass vase, with an opaline white interior. It's a melon-form vase, with a dimpled base and tall, thin neck.
The vase dates to the 1960s and is featured in the book Scandinavian Glass -- Fire and Sea, by Leslie Pina (p. 35). It's in excellent condition.
