A handsome set of four vintage Danish dining chairs in the classic wishbone/Y-back tradition: the silhouette made iconic by Hans … Read more A handsome set of four vintage Danish dining chairs in the classic wishbone/Y-back tradition: the silhouette made iconic by Hans Wegner and widely produced by quality Danish manufacturers including Farstrup Møbler and Frem Røjle during the golden era of Scandinavian export furniture.

Frames are solid teak with a warm, honey-brown patina consistent with age and quality. The curved continuous arm rail and splayed Y-back are beautifully formed, characteristic of the precision bending and joinery that defined Danish workshop production of the period. Legs taper elegantly and retain their original form without warping or wobble.

Seats are drop-in upholstered cushions in original black leather with a pleated edge detail. The leather shows minor wear but remains in great condition as shown in the photos.

No maker label survives, but construction quality, materials, and design language are consistent with mid-tier Danish workshop production of the 1960s–70s.
