This 1970s table lamp perfectly embodies the optimism of the Space Age, blending it with the sophisticated elegance of Hollywood Regency style.

The lamp's body is a true piece of domestic sculpture: a cluster of cylindrical columns in solid, transparent acrylic glass, cut obliquely at the top to create prisms that break up the light.

The acrylic columns are inserted into elegant brass cylinders, which in turn rest on a geometric base layered in black and transparent acrylic glass. This contrast between the lightness of the acrylic glass, the dark solidity of the base, and the metallic warmth of the brass gives the lamp a magnetic presence.

When lit, the open-weave fabric shade diffuses a warm, golden glow, while the underlying structure reflects the light, transforming the lamp from a simple light source to a focal point.

Condition: Very good, consistent with its age and use. The acrylic glass retains excellent clarity. The brass has a beautiful patina and a light surface ding, authenticating its age and vintage charm. The electrical system is original and in working order.
