He worked as a cowboy and for … Read more William E (Bill) Freeman was a resident of Scottsdale, AZ and Jackson, Wyoming. He worked as a cowboy and for the Arizona Game and Fish Department which began publishing his western sketches. As a full time artist, he depicts the landscape, western genre and restores and makes replicas of ancient Indian pots. He began restoring ancient pots as a challenge to recreate the work of long forgotten craftsmen.
The pot is beautifully executed and complemented by a serendipity find of a hand forged stand by an unknown artist .
