Rather than identical twins, the lamps were designed as a complementary pair, each featuring a unique arrangement that creates visual movement while maintaining perfect harmony together.

Constructed from substantial polished lucite slabs pierced by a central nickel-plated column, the design transforms from every viewing angle as light refracts through the beveled acrylic. The craftsmanship is noticeably superior to typical production lucite lighting of the period, with beautifully machined edges, exceptional optical clarity, and a dramatic sculptural presence even when unlit.
