Elegant pair of French bedside tables in the Louis XVI style, dating from the 20th century. Each table is crafted in solid wood and topped with a shaped dark marble surface, offering a refined contrast to the warm tone of the wood.
The design features a single drawer adorned with original gilt bronze mounts, including classical laurel motifs, and slender fluted legs ending in brass sabots. A lower shelf provides additional functionality while maintaining the clean, architectural lines characteristic of the Neoclassical tradition.
