Four graduated tiers with fan-crest bamboo backsplash, scalloped shelf edges, and mottled tortoiseshell graining visible across both the bamboo frame and lacquered shelf surfaces. Per the dealer, this piece was imported from England and originally used as a music shelf.

Condition notes: Genuine age-consistent wear throughout. A stabilized split is present at one rear top rail joint, secured with an early fiber cord repair — decorative element only, does not affect structural stability. One shelf shows a small area of finish loss/flaking (pictured) distinct from the tortoiseshell graining pattern. Frame shows a slight age-related settle typical of period bamboo joinery.
