Outside of the felt is a luscious rosewood veneer with two yellow strips of thin inlay that mirror the sinuous form of the foldable top.

The roughly 29-inch-tall table is supported by four cabriole legs with bronze roquillard embellishments at the top, with a smaller one on each foot. These asymmetrical ormolu accents, coupled with the sweeping legs, are indicative of the style of Louis XV. The front apron has an inlaid flower margent with an irregular arrangement that is dwarfed by the marquetry bouquet that adorns the top when folded. This is a beautiful and elegant table, hand-crafted using the finest materials of the 19th century. When not in use, the top can be folded, allowing the table to be utilized as a console. See less
