Built from beautifully structured, rich old-growth oak, the piece features spectacular, highly figured book-matched burl wood panels adorning the doors and drawer faces. The central door is fitted with its original, large-scale inset plate glass mirror, reflecting light beautifully and adding immense depth to any room.

This massive statement piece offers an incredibly versatile interior layout:

​Center Section: Opens via the mirrored door to reveal a spacious hanging wardrobe column, perfect for full-length garments, coats, or linens.
​Flanking Side Cabinets: The left and right doors open to reveal built-in shelving, providing clean, organized compartments for folded clothes, collectibles, or bedding.

​Integrated Drawers: Features 4 drawers in total—two smaller, lockable glove drawers seamlessly integrated into the cabinet body, and two massive, deep storage drawers anchored into the heavy plinth base. All drawer fronts boast spectacular burl wood grain and are outfitted with original, ornate cast brass drop handles.

​Construction & Condition
The wardrobe is topped with a commanding, classically carved crown molding cornice displaying elegant scrollwork. For a piece of this scale, the engineering is brilliant: it breaks down into three distinct, manageable sections (the top crown, the main body cabinet, and the drawer base), making moving and in-home installation seamless for white-glove couriers.

​The piece is in excellent antique condition, structurally rock-solid with a rich, glowing patina. Minor surface wear, light age-appropriate character marks, and beautiful micro-silvering on the antique mirror glass are present, all highlighting its 100+ year history and authenticity.
