Signed Italian Rimini Blu ceramic vase designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, Italy, circa 1960s.
The vase features a cylindrical body with a raised neck and richly textured, hand-incised geometric decoration, finished in the iconic Rimini Blu glaze with tones of deep blue, turquoise, green and black.
The piece is signed and numbered to the underside, most likely with “Italy” and model number 622. Its compact yet sculptural form makes it a beautiful decorative accent for a shelf, side table, console or desk, either displayed on its own or as part of a collection of mid-century Italian ceramics.
Condition: Good vintage condition with light age-related wear. Minor glaze irregularities, small firing marks and variations in the surface are consistent with handmade ceramic production. Please refer to the photographs for details. This piece has an attribution mark,
