A fine pair of heavy, handmade asian-style bookends; the elephants are crafted from patinated bronze, the book elements are made of wood with gold details, and the bases are finished with leather. Vietnam, second half of the 20th century.
stylish and elegant bookends of high-quality craftsmanship; the elephants feature exquisite detailing and a beautiful brown and deep-green patina. One elephant is slightly loose, allowing it to be rotated to reveal the underside. Showpieces for the bookcase!
