Vintage Bay Keramik vase, ochre and brown with a floral pattern around the middle; vintage West German pottery from the 1960s–70s, marked and numbered 661-40.
"West Germany" was essentially a collective term for ceramics released onto the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Well-known names include Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, and Fohr, though perhaps the biggest names were Scheurich and Bay.
