i have four of these chairs in stock in the original cognac colour, a further two hand dyed examples and two further hand dyed examples which have the higher backs, this sale is for one of the hand dyed examples with the option to purchase two in total

the chairs came from a very good dealer in belgium, he travels to the united states regularly to purchase lighting and interesting pieces, these chairs came from as mentioned the chanel head office in new york some time ago, they have been in storage ever since
this is a well made style icon of an office chair, you will see examples of this in museums all over the world as an illustration of a 20th century design classic, this chair has been in films, the highest level of professional boardrooms, its a staple of style, class and sophistication
the four chairs listed under my other items came with these two as well, said four all have the original herman miller sticker to the bottom along with a date stamp of 19th may 1977 under the back curve, this suite of two had the stamps removed during the restoration process when they were stripped back, hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed, waxed down and polished, these are the finest colour examples of these chairs to be found anywhere in the world today

condition wise, the restoration is designed to make the chairs clean, fresh and unique, whilst keeping all the original style and charm that only comes with honest age and use
dimensions height: 85cm width: 58cm depth: 64cm seat height: 52cm this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
