Stunning pair of Antique Victorian Burl Walnut Nightstand Side End tables with large cupboard internals
A very good looking well made and decorative pair of nightstands, they can of course be used in any setting as they are super utilitarian which is the best kind of antique. The timber is Burl Walnut and its quarter cut book matched on the doors, this was done for decoration and to help the timber manage the curved of the serpentine fronts
Condition wise we have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished them from top to bottom, there will be some age and use related patina marks based on normal use and transport, the tops have some slight timber raising and shrinkage splits, they have been protected with glass tops, the sides have age related timber cracking, again all signs they are genuine antique pieces
