* Otto Herbert Hajek (born June 27, 1927, in Kaltenbach, Czechoslovakia; died April 29, 2005, in Stuttgart) was a German abstract painter, printmaker, and sculptor. from the mid-1960s onward, Hajek used colored geometric forms, approaching the visual language of Concrete Art, though without subordinating his artistic freedom to an impersonal and "objective" design principle, as was the case with Concrete Art.
