Late 18th century hand carved oak chest of drawers from England.
The top is made from two boards, with a molded and beveled edge. The top follows down to simple sides, also made from two boards. In the front of the case, there is a two drawer over three drawer configuration, and all of the drawer fronts have wonderfully hand carved decorated panels, banded in mahogany. The base of the chest has a molded edge and it is supported on bracket feet.
This is a gorgeous chest of drawers and will certainly be the focal point of any room in which it is placed.
