This small trunk from Normandy, France, is adorned with beautiful polychrome floral decor that also includes a tasseled swag on the front, and a stout urn with looping handles on the lid. The ground is a verdant green, with the hand-painted motifs in gold, orange, black, and light green. The slightly domed top opens to reveal a completely lined textile interior consisting of olive, orange, and teal stripes of various sizes on a cream background.
