This piece is part of a series where Luna transforms real, everyday painter's tools into practical household objects.
He secures real paintbrushes to custom painted wood plaques. The brushes are positioned to act as durable coat or hat hooks.
He pours thick layers of glossy resin and varnish over the plaque and brush bristles. The resin flows downward and hardens permanently into a solid, clear puddle, creating the illusion of fresh, dripping wet paint frozen in time.
While he is known for his functional paintbrush sculptures, his primary acclaim comes from his optical "Invisible Literature" and translucent library sculptures.
