Intact in its original wooden frame with a dark walnut stain, a gold metallic inner frame, and linen in between. Protected behind glass with its paper dust cover and hanging wire intact. Mid 20th Century.

Commonly called the Crowned Pigeon, this bird is found in lowland rainforests of Papua New Guinea, and is the largest pigeon in the world, growing up to 26 inches in length!
