Salloch, the German-born American artist and graphic designer who emigrated to the United
States in 1937. This unframed work depicts an atmospheric landscape of rolling mountain valley at dawn in Barga, Italy. Signed at the bottom left and dated 1935.
The sheet measures approximately 9'' X 13.1/4''. Condition is vintage and unrestored, with light toning. Sold unframed.
A strong example of Salloch’s mid-century landscape work, with fluid ink line and transparent
watercolor washes.
