It is strong and dynamic with classic Art Deco styling. It originally appeared in a French periodical of the time and has now become highly collectible and desirable by today's fashionistas and collectors. It is NOT a recent reproduction print. The image showcases the line of globally renowned travel goods under the Hermès name. Hermès products are known for their uncompromising craftsmanship. This image of a woman ready for travel on a luxury trip with her necessary travel goods, including her coveted golf bag! The print is illustrated, signed and dated by Leon Benigni (1892-1948) in lower left. Benigni was a highly acclaimed fashion illustrator who worked in Paris in the 1920s and 1930s. He illustrated designs for iconic couturiers such as Lanvin, Schiaparelli, Balenciaga. His work appeared in high fashion magazines of the early 20th century. This image is in pristine condition with no indication of age.
